BEAUTIFUL! Love the uniqueness of the umbrella and owl. Tfs.

Joyzette Fields

I'm telling you that our decorating ideas go fairly in the same direction, I did a tree a couple of years ago and used white snow owls, huge red cardinals on a white flocked tree with frosty crystal snow hanging from pine garland, the ribbon was looped very large like the snow was blowing it ,it was red and white checked with snow flake drops. I pushed the bigggggg balls back in the holes of the tree. I should do what you do and take pictures of my creations. Brrrrrr Joy in Ky.

I am loving that umbrella for a tree topper! .. and the pillar candlesticks in the back, with teacups on top, and the bottle brush trees... yummy.

Oh, how beautiful. I love all the red, and the tablecloth ornaments are just perfect. I loved the post with the gumdrop tree. We had one exactly like that. My dad was a gumdrop hound.... He used to snitch 'em off the tree, even though we piled them around it... Oh, memories.... Hugs... Gayla

Oh, Tina...this is the most stunning Christmas tree I've ever seen...so full of charm and character and not just like all the other trees...I just love it !!
I am still working on my bedroom ..it won't be JUST like yours but you gave me such inspiration. As soon as the holidays have settled down, I will paint my green walls in a soft yellowy gold color, for the warmth that your room has...just can't wait.
I did get the red and white quilt and just nearly kiss it every morning, i love it so much....
love, bj

I really like the idea of using Christmas tablecloth in hoops. I bought one at a flea market and don't really care for it on our table but still love it and want to use it, I think the hoop idea is perfect. Maybe even use some big ones for wall decor.

Tina, I have been waiting patiently for you to post your beautiful tree. I love the red and white tulips, white owl, embroidery hoops, and the umbrella is the icing on the cake. I still love that Santa. Almost bought one after Christmas last year but we were in the mode of downsizing and I didn't neet another Santa. I still should have bought him - he is extra special. Hope this post I have been having trouble. The one for your mother's birthday didn't show up either. Have a Merry Christmas

Dear Tina,
The Tree is very "pretty" and the umbrella as the TopHat/finishing touch is such an unexpected beautiful surprise.
I am pretty sure after seeing your tree there will be lots of trees with umbrella toppers.
I love that you placed the tree in a flower pot.
Love the polka-dot ribbon.
Merry Christmas To You and Your Family.

What a joy it is to visit your blog. Your casualness is perfection and I love it! I went to "Amy's" site to see the little stockings and because they were not EXACTLY like yours I didn't buy them. GOOD GREIF! I think I have a problem. I was going to hang them in the kitchen under my pot rack. Next year. ~and the band played on~

Tina,

Your tree is beautiful! If you decide next year to go with carnations, please try and include your tulips somewhere else in your Christmas decor. Ever since I saw your tree last year, I've been associating red and white tulips with Christmas! :-)

Every time I go back and look at your pictures, I see something new and it's always something unique and cute.
