I've been wanting/looking at this red and white quilt from JC Penney for almost a year now~ I finally bought it. It has the appearance that its slightly distressed. It really looks like a vintage quilt...

This must be the coziest little bedroom I have ever seen. It looks so quiet and peaceful. Hope you find wonderful serenity, and sweet dreamy sleep in this lovely room of yours.

Love the way the bed looks and love the quilt. Is the pillow at the foot of the bed a stuffed pillow, something to store the bed pillows in, or something else? Would like to know. Thanks

Thanks for shopping at JCP...both my teens work there ;)
Love your room and the quilt is beautiful!

My mother made a quilt top when she was a young girl that looked like this. When she died, and we looked through the cedar chest, it was gone! Nobody in the family will admit to taking it!! I know it did not walk off by itself! I just hate when people sneak behind your back. I would have given it willingly to that person, if they had PROMISED me they would finish it! I may get this J.C. Penney quilt for Nanny's memory! She would love it. I hope she haunts whoever took her quilt top!!! It was the only one she ever did, at about age 16 in 1931!!! Yea Nanny!

Tina- I Love your new quilt! It looks Perfect for your room- Say- I was counting -how many pillows are on your bed?- 10? plus the large body pillow on the end of the bed?-I love pillows too!- but my Husband would never go for that many, even if I would.lol- Does Milton help you get the bed ready for sleep?- If he does, boy you got him trained well., Mine wiould be too stubborn for that!
I made your Buttermilk Pie recipe today- It is good and custard-ike- but I think it might be too sweet for us- Is it for sure supposed to have 3 3/4 cups sugar in it?- I noticed too, that when I cut a piece, some of the filling on the very bottom is liguidy, I am wondering if it is the baking adjustment I need to make for this alltitude?- The custardy part tastes really good, but I don't understand why it didn't all gel- conjeal- I spooned some of the runny part on a piece, and the runny part is just like sweetened condensed milk-sweet,-I used two deep dish crusts and it all fit perfect , and I baked mine for 50 minutes- what did I do wrong do you think?-Let me know-what you think I did wrong or need to adjust?-Love ,Valery-

Very pretty! I love all the pillows on your bed!! I'd love to do something like that, but I'm afraid I'd be too lazy to make my bed back up with them every morning!
Posted by: Nichole | November 05, 2008 at 06:00 PM
The quilt is great and the whole bed emsemble is so beautiful. The advantage of a new quilt is that you can wash it, and not as delicate as an old one, but it looks like a vintage one. Enjoy!

That's gorgeous! I've been looking for a quilt to wrap around the seat cushions of our couch (they're just starting to get frayed) and that one might just do the trick. If only they had it in twin...!

Wow! The JC Penney ad is beautiful - but if they REALLY want to sell those quilts big time, they should ask you if they can buy the rights to your photo to use on their webiste - it looks fantastic!!... Donna
