You can't beat chicken fried steak and gravy for good southern comfort food. My grandmother used to make the best gravy and always had a buttermilk pie for dessert. Great memories!

Tina,

Chicken fried steak, with plenty of cream gravy, is the ultimate comfort food, and we all need a bit of comforting these days!

Ok, after seeing that picture, I am craving it!!!!! :-)

Roxie

Hope you had mashed potatoes, corn, and some biscuits too. That makes it complete. At least in my Texas home...Roxie

Shelia

Oh Yummy! I was raised on 'fried'. If you couldn't bread it and fry it, we didn't eat it! lol
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Some years CFS is what we have for Christmas day dinner. My Daddy cooks the best CFS and my it takes my poor s-mom a week to de-grease the house. He makes enough to feed an army so we help out by having some for breakfast the next day with a fried egg!

Theresa-GAV

Tina: you always post the best looking food!! I think you should create a cook book!! Save me a copy, T

JAN

How come you didn't invite any of us?? I would have brought dessert. A bishops chocolate pie that I just made...........JAN
