I love the way vintage handwritten recipes look... Recently, I spotted 3 very old handwritten framed recipes. I loved the way it looked. These little treasures were wrinkled, faded, yellowing, used and REAL.
What a sweet idea for preserving handwritten recipes by loved ones.
It's especially important once that person is no longer living.
Luckily, or would that be sadly, I have one handwritten recipe of my Grandmother, Grace Johnson. The only Grandmother I knew, my Dad's Mother.
Jessica and Jason married under a huge oak tree....
...it was beautiful.
On every other aisle chair, burlap sashes tied in a pretty knot and fruit jars filled with sunflowers hung from jute twine, giving the ceremony site a fresh summery look.

It's crazy... we've been so busy, we're not sure if we're
coming or going!!
That's a very good thing!!

We had a blast planning, decorating, and coordinating
Jessica and Jason's wedding.
I'm excited to share with you my photos of Jessica and Jason's wedding. I didn't get to take as many photos as I wanted. There just wasn't enough time.
The wedding was this past Friday night. 5.13.11
Jessica is a beautiful woman, she was a GORGEOUS bride. She was such a sweet person to work with. Monica, Jena and myself love her. We love her whole family... Jason, her new husband. Her Dad and step-mom, Mark and Jill. And her Mother, Brenda.
I hope you enjoy the photos. This wedding was fabulous!
I have a perfectly fun and good reason for being absent.....

Monica, Jena and myself have been working tirelessly getting ready for a wedding in this barn. We were hired by one of my blog readers to decorate for her step-daughters wedding next weekend. The 'wedding' site will be under a huge beautiful oak tree. The reception will be in the barn and a tent.
Can't wait to show you the fantastic wreaths we have to hang on those barn doors!
