A wedding~

 

Monica and I had an awesome time saturday. We were hired by Tony and Anita Cavalieve to decorate for their daughter, Cassady's wedding reception. 
 

The wedding and reception was at Roseland Plantation in Ben Wheeler, Texas. This is where Mika and David were married almost 3 years ago.

The weather was absolutely perfect!

I'd like to share some of the photos I took.
 
 

Tables were dressed with white tablecloths, and black and white fabric squares. Each square was topped off with a vintage crocheted doily. Hydrangeas and key lime-filled glass vases were tied together with white tulle.

We're celebrating Valentine's Day early...

Milt had to run some 'errands' today, he came home with 4 red potted tulips and fresh white flowers for my blue jars.

I'm so happy!!

He also saw these red polka dot bath towels

when he was walking around in Wal-Mart...

....he bought me 2.

He's so cute.

I just couldn't get warm this evening...

so Milton built me a fire.

I plan on having my dinner right in front of it.

my 'tomatoes' box...

I found this old cardboard 'tomatoes' box in a booth in an antique store in Gladewater, Texas.

I was thilled to pieces. Milton, not so much. He had to pay $14.95 for it. He's still talking about having to pay 

GOOD MONEY for 'an old box'....

I told him...

It's the perfect container to hold plants, tomatoes/veggies, flowers, old books, fill it with cute dishes. It could hold pretty napkins, garden supplies, stationary/cards, etc. etc. etc. ...

 
 

I didn't convince him....

he still frowns at it.
