Christmas at Monica's~
Yesterday Monica and I hosted a Christmas party/luncheon at Monica's home. It was a group of ladies that wanted to have their ornament gift exchange somewhere 'different'...
...so we did that for them.
They had punch, coffee/tea, lunch, cake, and music.
And... they enjoyed Monica's beautiful Christmas home.
Tissue pom-pom flowers on Monica's Christmas tree are beautiful in white and burlap/brown. Monica also tied white vintage hankies on and included the big wooden letters from last year. She has several cute little cream owls and a white polor bear on the tree.
Love the Christmas glasses and pitcher...
Monica's new bed...
I LOVE IT!
It was brown/stained. Monica painted it!!
Look how high the headboard is!
NOW...I...WANT...ONE!!
Kathy found this bed for Monica in Houston.
New screen door to the laundry room....
...too cute!
CAKE letters by Mika~ to order
This is what Monica looks at when she is standing at her kitchen sink...
Pocket-watch ornament from
Thank you ladies for our 'first' party/luncheon.
We enjoyed it.
And thanks Monica for the Christmas tour.

Thanks for sharing Monica's home.

Merry Christmas to everybody! I wish ya'll could sit here with me, and have a cup of PG Tips tea, that tea is just flat out GOOD! I am not doing anything for Christmas, the first time in 60 years, but will catch up next year. All my bills are paid and I have groceries, and that's all she wrote!!! Am grateful for everything. If you know a senior who is homebound, take him or her to a coffee shop for a cuppa and a goodie. You will have stars in your crown. XXX OOO

Loved the pictures of Monica's home at Christmas and yours too. I also have a bed like Monica's that I would be willing to part with for a good price since I don't have room for it either. I'm pretty close by if you're interested--right outside of Tyler in Bullard. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

What a wonderful idea to host cozy little parties! I think this idea could really take off for you! I love Monica's home... so cozy for a Christmas party, and trouble free for the guests, with no one being burdened with hostessing.
Best of luck in your new adventures!
