I couldn't wait to try this Green Beans and Red Potatoes recipe.
My sweet Monica shared it with me.
The recipe is from Bob's Aunt Sentis.
I love it cause they taste like 'fresh garden green beans and new potatoes'...
......but you buy the potatoes and the green beans in the grocery store.
The green beans are 'fresh frozen'. The potatoes are the little 'red skin'.
Very easy ~
Cover potatoes with water.
Cook until tender.
Add a bag of fresh frozen green beans on top of potatoes.
I covered the pot to allow the green beans to wilt.
Season with bacon grease/drippings. Kosher salt and pepper.
Cook until green beans are nice and tender.
The aroma while cooking was...
