Tina,
Those birds in East TX sure have it good! A good, hearty meal surrounded by luxury. :-)
Love this idea!

Wow, I can't let OUR wild birds see this, or they will be marching back and forth in front of the house with picket signs, protesting their shabby treatment here.
So cute!

What a perfectly cute idea! However, the squirrels would make themselves at home where I live.
Can't wait to see pictures of the birds in their new home!

I love that idea. I even have a great place to put one of those, BUT, the idea of cleaning it after a week makes me ill to my stomach.
I have 3 very nice bird feeders in my yard now. They are such a mess that we use a pressure washer on them to clean them from time to time.
Have you any ideas on cleaning it?
Thanks so much for your blog. It is always a breath of fresh air. I enjoy it very much. I live in Central Texas so we enjoy good weather most of the time. We have a back covered patio and a front porch on our home that we love. I think this bird feeder doll house would be great on the front porch..
Blessings to you.

I think that is THE most novel, and sweet at the same time, thing I have seen in a very long time. ~~note to self: add old dollhouse to list of "I WANT!"'s~~

Love your post. Love your "B.B.&B.". That would be Bird Bed & Breakfast. That is soooo
ca-ute!!! I have mine on the shelf over my
old sink (potting bench) on the back porch.
I have gardening tools and small flower pots
in it. I never thought of using it for a
feeder. My squirrel would probably tear it
up so I better leave it on the back porch.
My computer has been down for 7 days so I
am trying to catch up.":O)

The squirrels would defenitely move into my dollhouse here!!! The birds wouldn't have a chance. I have mine on my dresser in the bedroom. It "houses" small jewelry boxes and trinkets.
Love all your great decorating ideas.

Hi Tina,
This is adorable, I love it. Only thing is, won't it get rusty from being outside?

I had forgotten this!
I had a doll house exactly like yours when I was a little girl.
Thanks for the memory.

It IS adorable & I'm another one of your readers who actually did this w/my childhood dollhouse! Alas - - - old, thin metal quickly deteriorates. I hope to buy an old, rather beat up one to do again. . . . the birdies really do love it!

Looks darned cute, but those sweet birdies are messy eaters, and they don't care where they poop, even at the dinner table! So your pretty table setting there will get thrashed. Maybe you could have hubster make you a wooden dollhouse modeled on this one, and let the birds have at it, a little farther from your table? Then you could find something cute to do with the dollhouse (yes, I had one too)inside your sweet home.
