Beautiful! I usually cut some as soon as they start to bloom. I cut the ones in the back on near the bottom. This allows it to still look full with blooms. It is so much fun to enjoy them in the house and outside! Enjoy :)

Ohhh, I love them too. I planted two bushes in my garden last week. I can't wait for them to mature into the beautiful bushes that they will be.

Stunning Hydrangeas. Thank you for sharing their beauty with us all today. I just came in from watering my hot pink Peonies. So summery.
Happy Memorial Weekend,
Cathy

Beautiful! I am the same way...The heads on mine just keep getting bigger so I am waiting. I hate to cut them because I am outside so much but I would love to have dried ones also!
Blessings,
Selia

I say cut at least one and put it right at your bedside. Happy dreams . . .

Your hydrangeas are so beautiful. I would have to cut some to bring indoors. I had real good luck drying some last fall. They stayed a pretty blue color and we enjoyed them for a long time. Happy Memorial Day! Love & blessings from NC!

You can cut a few, Tina. Might as well enjoy them up close. Mine are just a tiny little flower in the center of the leaves. I must be patient!

Such a hard decision. I'm with you on that one. They are so beautiful on the bush and last for so long. This summer mine all seem to be blooming a lot. I'm going to cut more.

Hi, Last week on HGTV show a landscaper said to cut Hydrangea's when they were fully open. Also, saw advertisement in Better Homes and Garden May issue for 2 New Hydrangea's - one was "Incrediball", Hardy and Heat tolerant Annabelle. The other, Invincibelle Spirit, first ever Pink Annabelle.
Loved the photo's. Living in Fl. I miss my Hydrangeas and Lilacs. Can't wait to get the "Incrediball" and see how it does down here in zone 9. Have a wonderful day!!
