A great snack for after work or after midnight.
Whisk together the flour, soda, powder, and salt.
Beat the butter, peanut butter, and both sugars for 2 minutes.
..... after 2 minutes.
One by one, add eggs; beat 2 minutes.

Gently blend in dry ingredients.
Divide in half, wrap, and chill overnight.
Shape scant tablespoons of dough into balls, roll in sugar...
place 2 inches apart on lined baking sheets....
Bake at 350 for 12 minutes, until golden. Let rest for 2 minutes; transfer to racks to cool.

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda

1 cup premium peanut butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup (packed) brown sugar

i am going to try these this weekend. our middle school cafeteria had the best peanut butter cookies and have always been on a look out for a recipe that is as good! hope your's is........they look wonderful.

The MOST important trick is the fork criss-cross!
That is what makes a real peanutbutter cookie perfect.
I'll just have to take a bloggy bite...no cookies in my kitchen for a bit.
