Ya know what? you have just encouraged me to get my grandmother's quilt out that I've kept in storage forever......and why do we do that? I never get to look at it like that. But I'm going to get it out and use it in guest bedroom....and play it up with some fancy lace and pillows!!!
thanky ma'am for great inspiration!
Will take a pic for you when I'm finished!!

Hi Tina~ Yep that's my weakness also. I bought some white pillowcases with the crochet edging in Canton the last time. I have one yellow crochet kind of like that and also one of "grandma's flower garden" quilts that looks a lot like the one on your bed. I bought it at a garage sale, they had used it as a cutters quilt so it has a small piece missing. I have all of mom's quilts and grandma's except one or two I gave my sister. I love them and would not ever get rid of them. I will pass them on to the kids. I have all of mom's linens(sister not interested)and I
love them,some she made,some she bought. I
also have all of her tablecloths. I'm such
a junker,I can never get rid of anything.
That's my handicap,"JUNKER"...:O)

This one is darling!
I'm more of a tablecloth addict... If I see one I love...I just can't leave it!

Very pretty! But to our husbands, they are not so thrilled with them! Can't sit on them, have to move them to get into bed...but we love them so it's ok! Come say hi :D

Oh, you and me both! I'm a vintage fabric junkie...chenilles, ticking, linen, damask, crocheted pieces, embroidered pieces...
I spray them with the Lavender linen water that I make before ironing..it's a delightful domestic thing! :0)

Thanks for the eye candy! Your blog is so full of lovely things.
Your blog was one of the first I ever stumbled upon that kept drawing me back this past year. I nominated you for an award tonight- in appreciation for your originality and upbeat postings. I hope you will stop by and accept it!

I love old linens too! I have a sweet vintage pillow case with a delicate crocheted edge. I would love to find someone that could monogram it or put some sweet saying on it for me. Enjoy your linen photos! Happy New Year!

Me, too!
One of the smartest purchases I've ever made was buying a vintage-looking display rack for quilts.
It's bronze with 3 tiers of bars to drape quilts, blankets, tablecloths, comforters on. We own an heirloom dresden plate quilt from the early 1900's that we have carefully draped on this rack. I love it!
Sure wish my DH shared my passion for pillows. :-)

You can't even sit comfortably on my couch anymore because of all the pillows:) If I find a great one I can't get rid of any of my existing ones and I can't pass up a new one. It's a sickness.

Very precious Tina. I bought a new duvet & cover for my spareroom last weekend and just can't wait to put it on for the New Year. That means, I have just about 10 more hours to do that.
Have a Blessed New Year!

So do I! I esp. love your Santa pillow a couple of posts ago that says "And to all a good night!" Hope you had a Merry Christmas, and best wishes for a Happy New Year! We will probably see you at Laurie Annie's booth at Canton this weekend! (although I guess we won't get to see her because of her recent surgery; praying she has a very speedy recovery!)Patti
