If you need or want a very "perfectly chocolate" chocolate frosting
I have one for you.
Melt 1/2 cup butter (1 stick).
Stir in 2/3 cup HERSHEY'S cocoa...
Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency. Add small amount additional milk. Stir in vanilla. About 2 cups frosting.
Cake is a chocolate "box cake"...
I needed one....quick.
This recipe yields 2 cups.
I used it all...
It's thick and beyond words GOOD..............

O.K. see the chocolate covered cherry box,
well yep you guessed it I have one that looks a lot like it,but I think mine is a
little older. On the outside mine says Frontenac Chocolate covered Cherries. I bought mine in Washington,LA. a couple of years ago and inside of it was a new strand of old time small blue Christmas lights. I bought the box because of the cherries. I have had soooo much chocolate this Christmas, but now you make
me want more. That cake looks delicious and
that recipe looks so easy for the icing.
Thanks,that's a keeper.:O)

That's how I do it too! I often make the cake from scratch but in a pinch I use the box mix. We make the Perfect frosting that's on the Hershey's can. Can't be beat!
