"PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE" Chocolate Frosting...

If you need or want a very "perfectly chocolate" chocolate frosting

I have one for you.

Melt 1/2 cup butter (1 stick).

 Stir in 2/3 cup HERSHEY'S cocoa...
 

Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency. Add small amount additional milk. Stir in vanilla. About 2 cups frosting.

Cake is a chocolate "box cake"...

I needed one....quick.   

This recipe yields 2 cups.

I used it all...

It's thick and beyond words GOOD..............

LaurieAnna had surgery...

My friend LaurieAnna had surgery today~

I just found out about it today when LaurieAnna called me before she went in to surgery. It was all unexpected. 

Willy posted on LaurieAnna's blog tonight that LaurieAnna's surgery went well. That Laurie will be down for a few days.

That will be veryveryvery hard for her...

 To be down...

I can promise you, if she doesn't have something to do after a couple of days...

she'll have that hospital room "DECORATED" ...

I don't change the "theme" of our

 cottage Christmas tree each year.

It looks very much like it did last year and the year before that.

I love using my red and white tulips, red rick rack, and vintage Christmas tablecloths in embroidery hoops. Last year I added my little white snow owl and red umbrella. This year I added red pom-pom fringe.
