My HUGE thanks to Cathy of Cobblestone Farms and her Mother, Brenda for sending me the most precious gifts ever!
This lil' bowl of cherries was from Brenda's collection. Cathy wrote in the note that her Mother suffers from diabetes and she has nearly lost all her vision. Cathy wrote that she shares in detail pictures of my Cherry Hill Cottage. She also wrote they decided together that I should have this lil' bowl of cherries, that they thought I would enjoy it mingled in with all the things I treasure. She said, I hope it makes you smile the way you have helped make my mom smile....
OMGOSH!!!
Tears...tears....tears....I was so touched.
I wished Cathy and Brenda had been here, I needed to
give them a
BIG (((HUG)))
To let you know Cathy and Brenda, it's one of my most "favorite things" I have it on my kitchen island, that is where it will stay. And... it makes me ((smile)) every time I look at it!!
Cathy also sent me this adorable ornament. She handpainted the Cherry Hill Cottage
and the cherries on it.
LOVE IT!
I have it hanging in my kitchen, off my pot rack, so I can enjoy it!
Cathy wrote that it's for my red and white Christmas tree. It will go front and center. After Christmas, back to the kitchen!
This lil' cute ornament is from my sweetsweetsweet friend Elsie.
I LOVE ELSIE!!!!!
Elsie and her two daughters came to Canton First Monday last month. Elsie brought me all kinds of gifts!! And Monica too!!
I'll show the ornament today~
Isn't it cute?
Love the cupcake with the "cherry" on top! I love that it's a lil' red cake stand w/ a cloche.
Thank you my friends...
I am blessed with wonderful friends.

Oh Tina......that is absolutely the best! How so sweet that her mom wanted you to have her bowl of cherries....I think I've even got a lil tear in this ol' eye. I'm loving you having it almost as much as you must be. 'Things' that come from someone's heart and that they've enjoyed in their lives and then comes to you....is just the ultimate in specialness. I think you should photograph it in a neat way and send her the print of your image. That way, ya'll can both have a little bit of her mom's cherries!!

This is so neat. I loved reading about it.
Girlfriends are just for that. They want to share some of their happiness with their friends. And giving some is as sweet as receiving it... So both ends are blessed!
Thanks for sharing a touching "distance friends" story. :-) :-) Makes all the rest of us out here smile and nod our heads in agreement.

Tina, I just wanted to say that how fortunate and blessed I feel that we are able to blog and have friends that we have never met.
Also I did attend the Nutcracker Market in Houston last week, and I did visit Laurie Ann's, what a great setup you all had. I loved the upside down tree! Keep up the good work that you do.
Many blessings to you

Tina - oh my - you made me cry all over again. It means so much to me and my mom that you are enjoying the lil' bowl of cherries so much. It has found the perfect home. Mom had her 10th eye surgery this past week and has gotten the best report yet - after two years she is on the upward swing. She has made significant improvement in the last couple of months and we are so grateful for her improvement and hope and pray that it continues. Her spirits are better and that makes all the difference in the world.
Thank you for your incredibly kind words - you are a constant inspiration to me! Blessings, Cathy
