I found my dream farmhouse....
it has everything, that I would want.
A great welcoming gate, can't you just see a fresh green Christmas wreath on it?
There's a hitching post. I'd get a horse, I promise.
Can you believe this long white picket fence?
I'd enjoy keeping it freshly painted, it would be a loving chore...
See the birdhouse? Right behind that group of trees.
I bet the little birdies love living here...
WHAT A VIEW!
I think it's beautiful.
This great farmhouse is on CR 1798 in Rusk County, Texas...
It's unoccupied, but well loved, you can tell. I bet it's someone's "weekend" home.
I'd love to know who owns it, I would ask them~
Can I buy your beautiful farmhouse? ; - )

The tax assessor-collector's office can definitely give you the information on this house!

I'd just ask, Can I use your farmhouse when you aren't? ;-)

What a gorgeous farmhouse - you are right! And you CAN find out who owns it. Just call the township or county assessor. It's public information.

Dear Tina,
I would love to see how you would decorate that farm house. I could only imagine the beautiful touch you would have on it. Please ask Milton to buy it for you.

I can see why you LOVE this house! Simply charming - from the picket fence...to the porch and metal roof. I can see wicker rocking chairs and jars full of fireflies.

I agree with everyone else who said to leave a note. You never know- even if they aren't wanting to sell it they may at least invite you over to chat over a glass of iced tea on their porch...

Tina,
I think you need to go to your county courthouse and find out who owns this beautiful treasure -- and make an offer! Good luck! At least notify them leaving your name and telephone number; you never know when they might want to sell. At least they will know who to call first!

That does look like a tin roof, Joy. That would be pretty rad for a farmhouse. Imagine a quiet night there, and all of a sudden, you get treated to the soothing sound of a bit of rain. The sound of the water landing pitter-patter on the roof feels so relaxing!
