All I want to do is shred cheese.
I won this great 1955 "foodmaster" on ebay. It is just like my Mother's. I had to have one after using Mom's to make my homemade pimiento cheese spread.
It's so simple~
Select proper cutting cone, feed cheese in the hopper and turn crank....
within seconds I had a nice pile of shredded cheese....

If you find one in your thrift shopping~ Goodwill, garage sales, estates sales, or find one on ebay, grab it~ You will absolutely love it!

Alright - I feel like grinding, shredding, ripping something up. In storage somewhere I have an old sausage grinder (my grandparents were farmers and did their own butchering). I never used it as it was intended to function. I just clamped it to a shelf...So I could look at it don't ya know. Now I think I might just actually use that thing.

I have one just like it, too! I bought it for $1 at a garage sale, and now I see them on eBay for $130! What a steal I got! Such a neat kitchen gadget.
