There is just something about a rainy day that makes you want to cook and eat soup!
We had heavy rains up here in NE OH for
3 days. And I also made soup.
Soft nice gentle rain is so soothing and
relaxing. I love it when the weather does that.

We made it through the rain, and right now it's sunny, windy but still cool enough to enjoy a nice bowl of soup. I think I'll bake a cake, too.

Oh yum. My favorite comfort food. I have even been known to take a leftover piece of cornbread, crumble it in a glass, and pour cold milk over it.
Then I eat it with a spoon!
Is that so wrong?

Nothing like the rain to bring out the cook in us ladies. It's close to 90 degrees here today! The warmest weather we've had here in Nor-Cal so far this year. Mmmm Taco Soup sound delic. Going to have to try that one. Enjoy your day and your soup:)
