Darling! I got my first pair of boots when I was ten years old... they were actually 'cowboy' boots... they belonged to my grandpa, from his ranching days, and he handed them down to me. I've grown into them a bit since then, though I've nearly worn them out. I've been keeping an eye on Ebay for a new pair.

Hi Tina
Love those boots. I think your chest of drawers is nice also. Don't know if you remember me. I am the person who emailed you a little while back about a glass dish you had on a table with bananas on display. I also have a chest of drawers like that in my guest room with a mirror on pivots attached at the top. Isn't it interesting? Wonder what else you might have that I have.

Around here, this time of year, we are getting ready for the Mother Lode Round-Up. Everyone turns into cowboys and cowgirls, wearing there western duds and especially the boots and hats. Fun!

I'm not an actual boot wearing kind of gal but I do think they could make interesting decorating. I'm thinking up a new display for our "Cowboy Room" at the library. This room has paperback westerns and my idea is to use a pair of boots with a cap pistol/holster sticking out of one and a rope/lasso on the other. Heck, I might just throw in a Sheriff's badge and some cowboy and indians. You think?

So THAT's your secret! I bet I can get my husband to finish his "honey-do" list now that I know I should just whip up a dessert wearing only a skirt, apron, and cowgirl boots ;)

I had a nice pair of cowgirl boots I found at the thrift store. Had them a few years.
My son had a cowboy birthday party, so I put a glass in the boots and filled it with flowers.
I eventually gave the boots away to the same thrift store I bought them at when I was moving.

You can really get some "good stuff" on ebay. I love the piece of furniture your darling boots are in front of.
Have a great weekend.

would never think to buy cowboy boots on ebay (fit and all). Any tips on what to look for? Yours are great looking. I agree, we do need a picture of you in your skirt and apron in them.Do you wear sox with your boots? I may dust mine off and wear them. I bought mine in Texas, of course!
Cheers from FL,
Rita
