Obie Gilstrap~
We said goodbye to our Uncle Obie this past weekend. He was our Mother's brother. There were 7 siblings in their family. Mother is the "baby" of the family and is the last survivor.
Uncle Obie is survived by his loving son Ronald Gilstrap and his wife Kathy of Alvin; sister, Margie Johnson of New London; and grandchildren, Beth Strand and her husband Jon, and Paul Gilstrap.
Uncle Obie was 93.
We love you Uncle Obie~

Tina,
My condolances on your loss. I know that his spirit will live on in all that he touched.

So sorry, Tina. I'll pray for you and your family, but especially your mama. I know you'll be extra attentive to her for awhile. She probably feels like she's lost everyone - except her kids.
