I was wondering if I can substitute the cream of mushroom soup for a different kind I don't like mushrooms

I know this is an old recipe, but I was searching for crockpot recipes and found your site. We tried this one and LOVED it. I added some frozen mixed vegetables to it and made a side of cornbread. Great stuff! I can't wait to try some more of your recipes. :)

Hi Tina,
Just wanted to thank you for this fabulous recipe!! I made it today and served it over garlic mashed potates for dinner and my hubba said on a scale of 1 to 10, he gives it a 12.5! So to say it was a hit is putting it mildly!
THANK YOU so much for sharing all of your wonderful recipes!

Suzie Kay

I got this recipe from your blog and cooked this last weekend. My kids loved it! As much as I enjoy your decorations, I also enjoy your recipes very much!!! Your creamy salmon pasta was soooo delicious too!!
I read your blog everyday, but this is my first time posting a comment.
I just wanted to say "Thank you so much Tina!" Suzie

I tried this over the weekend and we loved it! Good and very simple! Thanks!

Cathy :)

I made this and it was REALLY good. My husband, son and daughter all loved it too. It's hard to find something universally appealing when your kids are 9 years apart but this one did it! The only thing I did different was I browned the beef prior with a bit of flour and garlic powder. It was fantastic! Thanks for the great recipe and the inspiring blog!

yum... made this tonight... the whole family loved it. Thanks... and it is SO easy!

Cool! I just got a crock pot from my son, who was given two as a house warming present. I have made vegetable soup as the first meal!!! The house smelled good all day! This recipe will be next! Thanks!

This looks absolutely wonderful! I like the addition of celery soup...I think that really makes it a bit different...yummy! I think I'll make this some time over the next week. :-) Love your blog!

Okay, now! I was already hungry, now I'm starving! Thanks for all of the great recipes!

Have a great day, Denise

It looks EASY AND DELICIOUS! Just the way I like it!

That looks absolutely delicious! I love recipes like this because I don't have to go out and buy something that I don't usually have on hand.

Plus, it's great comfort food! :-)

I love using my crockpot so I'll give this a try. I make pot roast with all those ingredients except the cream of celery so I'm eager to try this. Thanks!

I make something similar and it IS yummy. I always brown my meat first though, really makes a difference.

Beef cooked in the crockpot is soooo tender!

That looks so good! I will have to try it.

Love a good crock pot recipe.
Your house always looks so happy!

Thank you so much Tina!! I have been looking forward to seeing one of your recipes post. This ones sounds very good. And easy! I also have been wanting a new crock
pot recipe. Gives me something to do in the mornings. Since I stay
home and we are empty nesters.

Another great one for us working moms! As a mom of three teenage boys and a meat and potatoes hubby, this will be a great recipe to fill them up on! (for a few hours, maybe!?)LOL!! I made the Lemon Pie and the Chocolate Chip cookies and, needless to say, they were a big hit!
My men gobbled them up!
Thanks again for being so sharing!

Yummy! I just love your blog!! I'm glad you're feeling better.

Can't go wrong with those ingredients!

I will have to try this one too!! I cooked the chicken pot pie yesterday...it was so good...we couldn't stop eating it. Delicious! Your Milton is a lucky man!!
Love your blog Tina!!!

Now that's a homestyle meal!! Perfect for a cold day. I saved the recipe to scrapbook later this week. Thanks for sharing.
