Sunday afternoon Milton, Mother and I went on a beautiful drive through a sea of golden daffodils~ Mrs. Lee's Daffodil Garden in Gladewater, Texas.
I agree, it is a private paradise tucked away among our East Texas landscape.
Come on a drive with us..
You can stop here and take photos...
Golden haven of beauty...
There are lots of places to have a picnic~ you'll have to spread several blankets on the ground. There are no picnic tables. Picnics are more fun that way!
Little log cabin in the woods~
3-acre pond named Lake Josephine sits behind the log cabin...
Hours: 10am - 4pm daily, 7 days a week from mid February through March or until the daffodils are no longer in bloom.

Tina,
Thank you for sharing with us. Those flowers are breath taking. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Thank you for the beautiful look at the daffodils!! Here in North Florida we usually have to replant each year. Your pictures were breathtaking.

I was there Sunday! We live in Gladewater & visit Mrs. Lee's Farm every year. We went for a drive through there Sunday after church, I think it was more beautiful this year than it has been in the past few years. Love your photos! I have a few on my blog & my daughter posted some on hers.
Small world.

Thank you, Tina, your pictures are beautiful. I live in McAllen, and it will take 10 hours for me to drive over there (and I'll still be in Texas, lol), but my husband was once in the Tyler area, with a tile setting crew, and he said the scenery was just absolutely beautiful; very different from South Texas.

How BEAUTIFUL - I just know Spring is almost here. I received my SPRING banner from Mika recently and I can't wait for this Saturday to hang it up so that on Monday my work area is officially SPRING ready - since it will be March on Sunday. I'm doing a combo of gardening/birds/bird nest/bunnies/ducks for our Spring display. We're under construction and space is limited so I have to combine everything to get everything in. I went to Mrs. Lee's Garden website and was just blown away, I would really love to go there. That's for sharing those photos. I love Spring...Daffodils, tulips, iris and EASTER. I just love Easter...All those bunnies, chicks, flowers, and PEEPS. Take a look at this web site for some cute PEEPs

Good for a laugh. I hope you enjoy.
