The ultimate comfort food~
Chicken Pot Pie...
This is oh-so-good!
Shirley's Chicken Pot Pie~
3 cups cut-up boiled chicken breast (about 4)
1 cup chicken broth (broth from chicken breast)
1 can of celery soup
1 can cream chicken soup
1 16 oz. frozen mixed vegetables
1 onion (chopped)
1 stick butter (melted) and another 1/2 cup chicken broth
Mix all the above and pour into a greased casserole dish.
Mix 1 1/4 cups Bisquick, 1 stick butter melted, and 1 cup milk. Pour mixture over above chicken mixture. Bake 350 for 1 hour or until golden brown.

How simple and totally yummy!

Hi Tina--
Thanks for putting Mom's recipe on your blog. It put a bright spot in her day. I got my dad to show it to her, and she was so surprised! I have another simple recipe she gave me...2 lbs. stew meat in crock; mix together a cream of mushroom soup and a can of cream of celery soup along with a packet of onion soup mix. Put meat in crock pot and pour sauce mix over it. Cook on low all day and serve over rice or pasta. Yum!!! It is so easy and soooo good. We had it last night, and Ric LOVED it. Take care...Love, Karen

Tina, so glad you are feeling better. I have to tell you I made the Chicken Pot Pie recipe last night and it was WONDERFUL! My grandkids were over and they don't like anything but they sure loved this. Thanks for forwarding it. Keep sending your favorites.

Hi Tina! My name is Rebekka, and this is my first ever comment on your blog. I came by your blog quite coincidentally a couple of weeks ago, and have been hooked ever since. :) I made this pot pie recipe, and it was a winner at our house! I'm going to try the slow cooker recipe this week.
You have a lovely home. I especially adore the stained glass panels you have hanging in your kitchen windows. Did you have those custom made?
Regards,
Rebekka
