That looks so good and the pictures really were horrible to see since I'm hungry and I want to try a bite right now! I could almost smell the black pepper from the picture and could imagine burning my tongue licking the yummy bubble-over-good stuff from the pan. I can't wait to try this!

Tina,
The perfect dish for a cold, windy day in Texas. Oh, how nice the kitchen is going to smell when this gem is in the oven!

This recipe is similar to mine. I add a tsp of poultry seasoning and use frozen Marie Callenders pie crust. We ate alot of this when I was in nursing school. I could cook the chicken in the crock pot all day. Come home and whip this up in no time. The kids loved it. Have a great week. Are you going to Canton this week? I was hoping to finally meet you.

HAPPY ,A DAY LATE, NATIONAL PIE DAY, TINA...
I ADD I PACKAGE OF LIPTON ONION SOUP MIX WHEN I AM BOILING THE CHICKEN AND THEN I DON'T ADD ANY OTHER ONION TO THE OTHER INGREDIENTS...THE CREAM OF CELERY SOUP I HAVE NOT ADDED AND THAT SOUNDS DELICIOUS.
I AM GLAD THIS DOESN'T REQUIRE MERINGUE...LOL...BECAUSE I WOULDN'T FIX IT.

Hello, I just found my way to your blog through a friend that told me about your yummy recipes. Wow what a great blog and you have so many good recipes to try. I took a look at your slideshow of your home and it's just beautiful. I'll have to come back for inspiration to get old house finished. I noticed in a previous post that Country Home Magazine is being cancelled, how sad, I love that too, in fact I think I have a 3 years sub. for it. I have not read the current issue yet so I did not know.
So nice to meet you and I will add you to my list of favorites!
Bless You, Shirl

Tina , you need to put out a cookbook with all your yummy recipes in it. It would be a hit.

I noticed salt and pepper in the picture, but not listed in the ingredients. Did you put in any other seasonings, or just salt & pepper to taste. I'll put that on my menu list for the week.
Thanks for the recipe.

Thanks for the recipe! I've been looking for one. My girlfriend makes the most delicious CPP and I had it the last time I visited her. Now, I could eat this until I burst, it tastes so good to me. Now I will make this and see how it is. Can't wait to try it! Thanks again!
