A good chocolate cake? The best chocolate cake. My girls ask for Texas Sheet Cake for birthdays. This was my mother's favorite thing to bake. We do put pecans in the frosting, but that's just a preference. Yummy!!! Debbie

My hubby loves chocolate cake and this looks like an easy recipe. What size pan should one use - looks like a typo maybe - is it 9 inch square or 9 X 13?

I just read over the previous comments. Mishelle beat me to the question I was going to ask - with all the fabulous things you cook, how can you stay so tiny? I swear, I put on a pound in each thigh just reading about your sheetcake!

I have this recipe and it is THE BEST chocolate cake ever, it never fails! One tip to make it richer, is to replace the cup of water with fresh strong coffee. it enhances the chocolate flavor.
I made your taco soup recipe and I must say it makes enough to feed a small Army! Very tasty too
