A good chocolate cake? The best chocolate cake. My girls ask for Texas Sheet Cake for birthdays. This was my mother's favorite thing to bake. We do put pecans in the frosting, but that's just a preference. Yummy!!! Debbie

Tina- This looks really good! I saw & used your Pecan pie recipe yesteray too. It is My husbands favorite kind of pie. I have tried and loved most all of the recipes that you post. Love them all-you should write a cookbook! Also your pictures of making things step by step look very proffesional, really you should publish a Cherry Hill cottage cookbook! Love.Valery

Hi Tina - yum, TSC is one of my favorites and it feeds a TON! I'm making it for our kid's teachers luncheon in a couple of weeks. I want a bite now! LOL!

My hubby loves chocolate cake and this looks like an easy recipe. What size pan should one use - looks like a typo maybe - is it 9 inch square or 9 X 13?

I just read over the previous comments. Mishelle beat me to the question I was going to ask - with all the fabulous things you cook, how can you stay so tiny? I swear, I put on a pound in each thigh just reading about your sheetcake!

Jean Eakin

Tina, can I say how yummy it looks and sounds. I will have to try it when my hubby gets over the flu. Have a good evening.

I have this recipe and it is THE BEST chocolate cake ever, it never fails! One tip to make it richer, is to replace the cup of water with fresh strong coffee. it enhances the chocolate flavor.

I made your taco soup recipe and I must say it makes enough to feed a small Army! Very tasty too

Denise

Oh, my!! That is my favorite cake! It looks so good.

Rosemary~

Hi Tina,
Wowwee. You are too much. I want to know how you stay to thin also. Do you eat what you bake? LOL! Thank you for always sharing photos of each and every step of your recipes! This one looks like a keeper! Hugs, Rosemary~
