I've got stacks of decorating and gardening books, too. Aren't they wonderful! I also save my favorite magazines...... which all appear to be stopping publication. :-(

I love the look of stacks of books but I have never been able to pull it off! Would love to have a big stack on the floor but I don't think I can do it! lol I hope you can stop by my blog to help me with some decorating ideas for my new red kitchen! I love your style!

YOU WILL NEVER KNOW HOW MUCH THIS POST MEANS TO ME....I LOVE THE LOOK OF STACKED BOOKS AND I HAD SOME ON A CHAIR SIMILIAR TO THAT WITH SOME CUTE LITTLE BEAR IN A HAT SETTING ON TOP OF THE BOOKS AND MY DADDY CAME BY TO VISIT....WHY HE THOUGHT THAT WAS JUST "TRASHY," HE SAID. "LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE GONNA HAVE A GARAGE SALE!" "WELL DADDY, THANK YOU FOR THE COMPLIMENT BUT YOU DON'T KNOW A THING ABOUT DECORATING"...HE LOOKED AT ME AND SAID, "NEITHER DO YOU"...I CAN'T WAIT FOR HIM TO DROP BY SO I CAN SHOW HIM YOUR POST.......DADDY'S..YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THEM....AND MY HUSBAND IS TOLERABLE BUT HE CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY IN THE WORLD I WANT TO START FILLING UP THE CHAIRS WITH BOOKS! What a great look, Tina. Girl,how in the world do you come up with things like this that are so simple and yet look like a million dollars? You just keep me in total awe...Everyone in Blogland tease me about how much I love every thing you do and want to do the same thing...Bet I'm not the only one, either !! ;>)
Ok, now, I am going to gather up some great books and find a cute chair and do the same thing....looks too cute not to do it !

bj..nope. You are NOT alone in your admiration of Tina. Some just plain "got" it. Really cute look, Tina! It's like some people that never have to think before picking out an outfit. They go to the closet and grab a couple of things..and they look like something out of Vogue! (Tina probably does that too!!) :) Sigh!
