Even in a dark dingy, 130 year old, salamander, creepy crawly, infested did I say dingy, basement?????

Stephanie

That is so cute, I would of never thought of that... love it :)

Cute and recycled! With all this crazy weather and bringing plants in and out, that is a great idea. Have a great day!

What a cute idea! Unfortunately I only have a 'laundry closet' and as often as possible the doors are closed and the lights out, so no live plants would last very long. But I did decorate it with a line of laundered vintage aprons hanging overhead. You can see pics on my blog here >>> http://camelliacottagediary.blogspot.com/2008/12/apron-giveaway-you-say.html.

Love your blog! Becky G.

Now that is the cutest idea I have ever seen!

Cute! I have that tea towel spread on the washer. I collect vintage tea towels, especially those with red in them. Love your home and blog.

So cute! Unfortunately, our washer and dryer are in the dark, dank, cave-cricket-infested cellar...

LOVE all your christmas decorations. I just had so much fun looking back on your past posts...

Wishing you joy in the New Year!

Mary

I love that idea. Wish I had a laundry room. My washer and dryer are in the garage.

The voice of melody

What a great idea!

Jean Eakin

I wish I had a laundry room instead of a "laundry basement". Have a great day.

I must take a minute Tina to just say thank you. I have been following your blog for around 4-5 months now...and your pictures, ideas, recipes and comments are always just so inspiring, well presented and just plain fun.
Thank you for taking the time to share your life with us and best wishes for a Happy New Year to you and Milton...

Well here's another reason why I love your blog. I love the way you think outside the (laundry detergent ;) box.

Have a great day!

Kimberly C.

Now why didn't I think of that. Great idea!

Barb @ Grits and Glamour

Super cute idea! If only I could keep a real plant alive. sigh!

bj

How cute this is...I use the liquid detergents so I had no idea the boxes were this cute now. I also have a laundry closet instead of a room but this is a precious idea....

Gina @ Six in the Country

I have painted the boxes before, to contain things like starch, shout, etc, that you need. Never thought of putting a plant into one, though!

Karen Baruth

Very cute idea! I have my detergent in a big jar with a tea cup scoop. Maybe I need a plant to liven things up. . .

Cheryl

You are always thinking..that is very, very clever! Happy New Year to you and your family!

jodi

That is such a cute idea. I wish that I had more of a laundry room than a glorified closet. At least it's better than the last house where laundry facilities were on the back porch!!

Rechelle

Cute idea and a neat way to "reuse". Enjoy your day!
