3rd. place is good...

 

We just found out Mika and David won 3rd. place in the Christmas decorating contest.

They can deduct $25. from their apartment rent~

that's a good thing!

I agree with the post above mine...I can't begin to imagine what the first and second place winners did??? What you and Mika did was so wonderful. I am glad that she won the $25.00 rent reduction but she probably spent more than that decorating. HE! HE! Oh well, that is the nice thing about being a woman....we can rationalize that kind of thing. HE! HE! Besides it was a wonderful mother-daughter project.

I think we need a recount of the votes. I am pretty sure the judges are wrong! Her apt was incredible. I love it and took one of your ideas and used it in my own home this year. I loved the covered boxes with the address numbers on it. Well the experience of sharing that moment with your daughter was absolutely priceless and I know you will always cherish it.

Cannot understand why they got third. You cannot put a first, second, or third place on the sweet memories you have in helping her decorate the door. Those will last a life time. Tell them congratulations from IOWA..........JAN

I saw their door for myself in person and it was fantastic. It was beautiful with alot of class. I still don`t see why they did not win. Unless someone had the real Santa standing out by their door!!! Mika Sue in our hearts you won.
