Me And The Cherry Tree~
Me and The Cherry Tree~ I can now say I'm a proud "collector" of Duda Daze art. This is one of three art pieces that I own by this wonderful talented artist...When I pulled her out of the box I show Milton. The first thing he said was~ that's you and a cherry tree~ I was happy! I love her from the tip of her head...
to the the very tips of her cute feet! Love that real lace trim!!
And everything in between...real buttons and a red bow!!
Thanks Di!
Yesterday I worked at LaurieAnna's shop. Again I want to say, please if you can come to LaurieAnna's shop opening on August 15th...COME!! It's going to take your breath away...it's beautiful!! Only 7days left!

Cute, cute, cute! I love the little touchs: the ribbon in her hair, the buttons etc.
If ever there was a painting created with you in mind, it's this one! Absolutely adorable.
Where are you going to put it, Tina??

What a wonderful creative piece of art, and how much better for you could it be. If you are like me when I get a new special treasure, I find myself looking at it a hundred times a day. Enjoy! I wish I could be at the shop opening, but as far as I know Virginia is still no closer to Texas. Shucks!(Showing my age). You have a wonderful weekend.

That is really cute, Tina!
I would love to come to Canton! We've been staying pretty close to home these days with the cost of gas. (I know, a broken record we keep hearing) Good News is, tonight, gas in the Wichita area is 3.39. Still too high, but some better.

Oh Tina, she is precious and soooo YOU!! I almost bought her for myself but didn't because I don't collect cherries. I'm so glad you got her.....she is absolutely perfect for you. I, too, collect art from Dudadaze....mine are mostly bunnies. In fact, I bought the retro bunny with the wonderful black "cat" glasses. I, also, like her frogs......toooooo cute! Have a great weekend! Becky

Dear Tina - Thank you for sending me the brownie recipe so quickly! I just discovered your blog, and already I hope to be able to purchase one of your cheese dishes with the dome top - if I catch one! Your home is lovely! We have alot in common! I too love cherries!! I also have a daughter who is 29, and my husband, (her step-dad) has always been more than a real father to her, although he had a massive stroke, which included brain damage, almost 10 years ago. He always said he'd walk her down the aisle, and usually, he can't walk very far, but he kept his word, and there was not a dry eye in the church!! We recently moved to a condo - and I'm still decorating, and am already inspired by your site! I was hoping to make some friends here - but people don't want to be friends with someone who has a disabled husband - even though I've done alot of baking and cookie making and have taken treats to the neighbors! We've lost alot of friends over the years, so it's a lonesome life, but I am glad to have discovered you! I have been checking in several times today to look at the previous months. I am enjoying the recipes as well, and hope to try a couple soon. I try to make my home as cozy as possible, since we spend so much time here! I look forward to getting more ideas from you! And how exciting.....a wedding! It's been two years since our daughter's wedding, and now we have our little grandson, Jack! And 7 weeks later, a granddaughter from my husband's son. Now we have 8! Thank you - Francine
