2008 Wedding Hearts Stamps...

The Market At Cherry Hill Cottage~ 003

FYI...In 2007 the U.S. Postal Service issued the designs of two "Wedding Hearts"stamps featuring vines that form the shape of a heart. These stamps are designed especially for mailing wedding invitations and RSVPs...

In 2008, the U.S. Postal Service reissued the designs...

The stamps are are available in two denominations to cover both the one-ounce and the two-ounce mailing rates. Each one-ounce stamp is intended for use on the RSVP envelope often enclosed with a wedding invitation. Each two-ounce stamp will accommodate the wedding invitation with enclosures.

Illustrator Nancy Stahl of New York City based her designs on memories of a wide range of intertwined objects, including silver charms and old-fashioned garden gates. The one-ounce denomination features a sage background, while the two-ounce denomination features a melon background.

Our wedding invitations have one enclosure~ a map to Roseland Plantation. The "Wedding Hearts" stamps will match the colors of Mika and David's wedding...white and clover.

Only you my dear could come up with the right stamp that just happens to match your DD's colors! I think that is wonderful. All the little details is what makes a unique wedding. Of course, the bride is always beautiful and the center of attraction.

What have you decided to wear? Have you found the "perfect" dress? I know you and DD's hair will be great with a sister who is a hair stylist.
Hugs,
Connie

from Texas to NJ, I feel the special moments of the preparation of this wedding...each and every one. It's wonderful to be able to share it with you. thank you so much. tears were brought to my eyes, too, being a life time McCartney fan, the song you chose while I'm typing along is wonderful, I love it, I love all his music. and thanks for sharing....as always.

Hi Tina,
Love the stamps. I purchased these myself just last week. You do have that special way about you. As I read all the comments, I think to myself, yeah...I feel that way too! I also love your choice of music. Well Tina, you have it all put together! Thanks for sharing it all with us. Hugs, Rosemary~

That is way tooo neat....Hugs

These are fantastic stamps. Don't have anything like this here in England.

These are exquisite. I had not seen them before.

Tina,

You always bring such warmth and charm to every project you attempt. These small details, like wedding stamps that coordiate with the wedding colors, are pure perfection.

I think the wedding invitations are so beautiful and well worth all the time and effort you are devoting to it. They will be keepsakes to everyone who receives one!

Hugs
Marilyn

Aren't they just perfect? We purchased these, just last week, for both the shower and reception invitations for our daughter's wedding.

We are living parallel lives right now. We used the same stamps...my daughter's colors are ivory and green with some coral accents...

Thank goodness these stamp colors matched your invitations.

You can also get personalizable wedding postage stamps too with either computer designs like these or with actual photos. In fact, you can even upload your own photos and create stamps with them too.

It's amazing what the technology allows these days for quick and simple customization.
