Kathy's Dog Trot Entry Hall, Sunroom and Outside...
Kathy has a yard conservatory from Linda's Blue Gate...it's in the entry.
Light on...cute!
Hutch in entry~ it's full! Lets see...what do I want? = )
I love the white vintage dresser in the hall...see the glass on the top? I love that!
This home is always this clean! And Kathy does it.. = ) See the vacuum cleaner? That's to clean up after Harry...
Vintage tablecloth on a canvas....
That photo is the 4 of us~ Kathy, Ric, Tina, Tony. Taken 10 years ago on Dad and Mom's 50th Wedding Anniversary...
Church pew~ Kathy collects white ironstone platters and white framed mirrors....
Moving into the sun-room...that spray bottle is to spray Harry~
There's sittin' places everywhere at Kathy and Pete's....
Wall of windows...
This is Harry~ the African Gray Parrot. He can talk just like Kathy and Pete. He barks like the dogs. Rings like the phone...There's a little bedroom off this sun-room~ this is where Mika sleeps. Every morning Harry wakes Mika up barking, ringing the phone, and talking...He'll say, PETE!... YEA BABE... overandoverandoverandover. Mika is not happy!
Hello Harry!
This photo is flipped wrong...sorry.
Kathy and Pete are ready for the 4th of July!
You see Kathy collects birdhouses. Don't you love that old vintage bike!
See the waterfall?
Great palm...
Ceiling fans to keep cool...
How many goat carts do you have Kathy? I want one!
I love this chair planter!
Concrete yard birds...
Cute!
Front steps display...
I didn't take photos of the bedrooms and baths~ I'll take them the next time we visit, which should be soon. We're taking our Mother to see Kathy, Pete and their family...
Kathy was overwhelmed by all the sweet comments about her home~ As you can see decorating is in Kathy's soul. She loves her home and enjoys life...She's a wonderful sister~ loving and kind. Thanks Kathy for allowing me to take photos of your home and sharing them with everyone!

Good morning............That is quite the bird house in her sun room. Harry is such a sweetie.I think he is the boss of the house. I wish you had taken a picture of your sister so we could say hello...........JAN

I have really enjoyed seeing your sisters photo's and I emailed her for the colors, which she emailed me right back! Thanks Kathy! I also had to tell her she has the same name as my mother-in-law Kathy Long, so funny!. I look forward to your next trip for the bed & bath pics.
P.S. I have a bunkhouse that I've been inspired to redeorate with the colors, it has a similar feel to it now but I enjoy trying something new in there every now and then, thanks for the inspiration!

I'm an only child, and I could use a sister.
Will the two of you adopt me?
Thanks to you and Kathy for showing us around. Everything is perfect.

Ok, Since you have already had requests to have additional sisters, I will settle to be an aunt. Would just love to spend a tea having some sweet tea on that glorius sun porch. It is amazing that she can keep up with all the cleaning herself! I too can't wait until we see the rest of the house. Thank you again to you for posting and please tell your sis that we appreciate her sharing a bit of herself and her home. I have sooooo enjoyed it! By the way, I have never heard of a dog trot hallway.

It's all amazing. I can't even imagining taking care of all this--the dusting alone would defeat me. But it's gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your sister's beautiful home, Tina.

I am just flabbergasted at all of the eye candy in your sisters' house! Every inch of her home and outdoors is decorated to the hilt - and in my most favorite of colors - red!
She has a gorgeous home and takes really good care of it as seen in the photos - how does she keep up with everything??
Anyways, these photos have made my day and have inspired me to get home after dogsitting at my parents' house and do some decorating!
Have a great day!

What a treat to have such a talent sister! Thank you for sharing her lovely home and her unique decorating. Every space is absolutely stunning. Both of you have the eye for color, placement, and using things in a special way. I love the dog trot. It is a great place to decorate and very practical for the homeowner. I love everything in every room.
The parrott is so cute! I would love to see the dog and a picture of her horses. Can you please take those next time? LOL
Hugs,
Connie

You and Kathy should do a decorating book together. You are both so talented and so creative. I love the dog trot, the sunroom and I am so jealous because the outside is so beautifully done too. I love the birdhouses with the old bike. Thank you both for this glorious tour these last few days. It has been so inspiring, with so many new ideas to try in my home. Have a good evening. Jean
