This old ice cream churn has been the best flower container~ every flower or plant that I pop into it just looks perfect! I'm going to enjoy this ivy for my shady porch...
Hope everyone has a perfect weekend!

I just love your blog...it is always so fresh and sweet and I have to tell you, your selection of music is awesome. Sometimes I turn my stereo off in my shop and just play your music. Thanks for making my days fun! Have a sunny weekend!
I agree - everything you put in that bucket looks wonderful! How I wish I had saved the bucket to our first ice cream freezer but who would have thought 20 years later I would be wanting that wooden bucket - or anything 'vintage' for that matter. And how did I get old enough to have owned (new) things that are now considered 'vintage'.
Charming! I love the rooster standing guard while the ivy welcomes you in. Ice cream buckets are great. We still use our '
vintage' one. LOL. The flower pot wreath is fun, too.
Your front porch looks so warm and welcoming! I just *love* the ice cream bucket! i found one at a tag sale last summer and i passed it up! I am sure kicking my self now! LOl Oh well i can enjoy yours!
Hope you have a wonderful weekedn also!

Love your plant in your old churn. I hope to get that great potting shed where you buy all those neat flower pots at a discount. Love that wreath on the door.
Hi Tina, I found your blog whilst i was hop hopping around and couldnt resist the name of it!
How sweet it all is! looove your post a bit further down with Toots ! And your cottage teacups are just so sweet. You take lovely photos too. Evrything here is so fresh and happy, i love it!
I'll be popping back for sure.
Hope you're having a gorgeous weekend.
I went garage saleing(?) yesterday and found an identical one!! It's a little more green...but has a "Maid of Honor" sticker on the front...What did you do with the guts of yours? I actually still have the ice cream making part...would it look wierd with the plants growing around the churning part?

I agree! Your ice cream bucket is wonderful, and it does look great filled with ivy, flowers or whatever your creative mind comes up with!
The rooster does look like he is on guard, as in "Don't you even THINK about touching that ice cream bucket!!! " LOL
Wishing you a sun filled, wonderful weekend!

That such a cute "vignette" and very welcoming. I never thought of painting a flower bucket such a beautiful color. Thanks for the idea!
