Do you have Knockout Roses in your garden? I highly recommend this wonderful rose bush. It's a repeat bloomer and completely carefree! I'm lovin' that everyday I get to cut red roses to bring in...
Snapdragons and pansies...
Can you believe it's Friday already? Enjoy your weekend!

I wish I could take such pretty pictures as you, but I do not have a clue how to do it. I do want to share with you though that if you like yellow roses the Lady Banks is so beautiful. It is hardy too. Grows fast and is just stunning when in bloom. Roxie
Here's a heads up for you. Costco has been selling Rainbow Knock Outs, in 2 gallon containers, for $6.00. Rainbow has coral/peach petals with yellow interiors. They look very nice planted next to my Radrazz Knock Outs.
Hello Tina!--I had a couple of that kind at my other home. They are really hardy,& when I drove by the place last summer, there was so many roses on it, unreal how fast they spread & bloom.-so pretty! I was wondering, have you ever planted "Lily of the valley" flowering plants? I am planting some in my back patio area here, hope they grow fast, the blooms smell so good.--Love,Valery
Yes, they're great roses I have a few and they're already in full bloom and they'll keep blooming. They did pretty good with the drought last year too!
LOve LOve Love knockout roses- so easy and carefree to grow and I love having them bloom all summer - even in west
Texas! I have had mine 3 years and they get better every year. Nothing like cutting a rose to enjoy!
I have knockouts in my yard and love, love, love them. I actually plan to buy even more. As I was bike riding today, I rode through a neighborhood and there were so many and the smell was delish!

What a gorgeous rose! It looks like the weather is fantastic there! Thanks for a peak at your stunning garden! By the way, I enjoy the music on your blog too!
I have just recently heard about the Knockout Roses. A friend of mine was telling me about them, and that she was getting some. They sound wonderful. I might just need to go check those out. They look just beautiful!!
My son-in-law planted two of these a couple years ago...they of probably six foot tall and so bushy now! Just yesterday my daughter gave me a huge bouquet of them!
Don't you just love them?!
Love the Knockout roses picture! They grow well in the north too. Keep posting your lovely garden photos...they're inspiring. Also a note to Valery who posted about Lily of the Valley: they are wonderful plants but beware...they spread like crazy! My grandmother had them and I always loved them for their tiny white flowers and great scent. So when a friend gave me several slips I didn't hesitate to plop them into one of my flower beds. That was 3 years ago and I now have a 12 x 12 solid bed of Lily of the Valley :) I didn't remember my grandmother's spreading like that but then I recalled that they were in a contained bed. One side of the bed was the house and a sidewalk made up the other side of the bed...no where for them to go! Oh well...live and learn (and laugh). Happy gardening everybody,
Sheila from west Michigan
Your flowers are lovely! No, we don't have that type of roses, but 28 others that a certain beetle bug (June Bug) loves to gnaw on. As soon as we get nice buds, they attack them. Grrrrr! Looks like your pretty spot is pest free!
What great roses! I don't have Knockouts, but I've been told they're industructable. Meanwhile, prayers to your friend and congrats to Mika!
Best,
~Angela :-)
I am so inspired.... I just planted mine... am probably a little late... it is the first time I have tried them... Belindas Dream... love your flowers !
I have knockouts in my planters on the steps. I hardly do a thing, but give them a little water now and then and they bloom all summer. They wintered over with no extra care, too! I'm in zone 7, with lows getting down into single digi's in winter.

Well, it's Saturday morning now, and I am delighted that is the weekend.
I am not familiar with those roses, but they are exquisite. All of ours are hybrid teas.
