It's Canton weekend~ Monica and I are on our way out the door. We're leaving for Canton, Texas to help Laurie set up her beautiful booth...we just love doing that! All that magazine lookin' got me to wanting chocolate~ So off to the kitchen I went...Some of you may remember this brownie recipe~ I'm thinking it's lost in my blog archives and no one knows about it...It's so good and easy. It's worthy of rebloging~
Duncan Hines Family Style Brownie Mix...
3 eggs...
Add 1/4 cup water, 1/2 cup oil...
Mix by hand 50 strokes...
Hershey's Candy Bars...
Pour enough batter to cover bottom of a 9x13 inch greased baking pan. Line Hershey's across batter.
Pour remaining batter over Hershey's Candy Bars. Bake at 350.

I am so excited to share with you our Cherry Hill Cottage is featured in the Summer '08 issue of Country Almanac~ We are just thrilled for the honor! We owe it all to the wonderful Kathryn Bechen who submitted the photos of our cottage for consideration. Our photo shoot was last year in Jan. '07~ we were blessed to have had Fifi style the shoot and Dan Mayers take the photographs. We enjoyed every minute of it~ I'll never forget those two days...
Once again I was excited when I found out Kathryn was to write our "story"...Kathryn my "cottage friend"... you did a marvelous job!

What would we do if we didn't have our apothecary jars to play with? ; - ) It's time for Easter decorating~ you know Easter is March 23rd. this year~ and the first day of spring is March 20th. YEY!! I just love knowing that...now I've got to get busy... there are all kinds of things I want to do!
That day I found the vintage hankies I also found this cute red and white enamel coffee pot~ it was displayed in the window...sitting there all cute like just wanting me to take it home and fill it up with cottage flowers!
Tie on a little ribbon~ and coffee never looked so good!

It was the day for "hankies" at our Hospice Shop~ I found all 4 of these vintage red and white works of art neatly folded and just waiting to be loved again...I wanted to use them so I topped my slipcovered dining room chairs with a splash of hankie love!
