I love to collect kitchen towels and potholders. And I knew I had to have a way to display them~ A vintage glass towel bar was a must have for my cottage kitchen...This is one of two. Their hard to find...I won this one on Ebay, and it wasn't easy. Everyone else wanted it too! So...my advise to you today is, if you see a vintage glass towel bar when your out antiquing grab it! It's like finding a little jewel.
Don't touch these Milton! Their just to look at...their doing their thing~ lookin' good!
What could be cuter than a crocheted chicken?

I just love that chicken towel! I like all of the towels but the chicken one is my fav!
:)
When i was " visting" Cherry Hill one day i seen your towels hanging on your island and it inspired me to do the same on mine! I don't have a glass one but i do have an old metal one that i hang my "just for looking pretty" towels. Thanks for the idea ! You are so creative Ms Tina! :*)

Ha ha my friend fell in love with a glass towel holder at an antique shop..dirt cheap. Her husband said he didn't like it. She ran back later to get it and of course it was gone. She's still talking about that cute little towel holder that got away. Wait til I tell her about yours! I just love vintage tea towels too. People really put a lot of love and time in those cute little pieces of USA history.
Best,
Kathy

I love your vintage kitchen linens. I have some, too, and I need to get them out and display them. I have an old glass rod that was in this house when we bought it and I have two square wooden rods with old white ceramic holders that belonged to my sweetheart's grandmother when his mother was a child. We are going to mount them in the kitchen so I can have two places for wonderful linens. The glass rod will hang in my laundry room with more old linens. Thank you for your inspiration. The chicken 'fringe' is just darling! ~Adrienne~

Those little chickens are sure cute, and the rest of the towels are pretty too. But those little tassel chicks are the sweetest!

I just adore your kitchen...it is sooo sweet and fun!
Great towel bar too. I have a local salvage yard near me, and I've seen those there a time or two. I bet when I go back they'll be gone!
Lovely post, as usual it's such a pleasure to read your blog.

Oh my goodness, Tina, you find the CUTEST stuff. The little chicken towel is sooooo cute. I don't even collect chickens but I would so love to have one of those towels. TOOOOOO CUTE!!! I can see why you bake so much...........with a kitchen like yours, I would probably be more inclined to bake and cook! :) Maybe it would be worth it to my husband to renovate our kitchen so he could get a home-cooked meal more often! LOL! Oh well, I guess for now I will just have to dream about your kitchen and pretend I'm in it when I'm cooking. Do you think that will help??? :)
