Gifts From Shelley...
Shelley, Shelley, Shelley...thank you so much for my lovely gifts! Now, I don't know how I've lived this long without this fantastic cherry chimney runner! Shelley told me its from France~ dating 1900's. It wouldn't work on my fireplace mantle, so I laid it on the back of my wicker sofa. I love the way the red cherries look with the black and white ticking...Shelley also sent me the darling cherry hankie~ I lined my card basket with it. And I even used the red and white ribbons she tied my package up with~the ribbons and the hankie just made that plain basket so cute! I also just love my vintage red and white crocheted potholder Shelley! I think they are so cute for little coasters. Thank you Shelley! I love my gifts~ you made me so : )

That mantle runner is adorable!
Blessings!

That is the sweetest table runner I have seen in a long time. If it could talk I bet it would have quite a story to tell. Only you would think of lining your basket that way. Wish I could have reached thru the screen and grabbed a swig of your coffee. You give each and every one of us such grand ideas.

Tina, please never, ever stop blogging and sending us those ever so lovely pictures. You and your colors just speak to my heart and make it feel sooo warm and cozy. It also says,"girl, get up from there and go get crafty, like tina". You are so inspiring. A day without Tina is like a day without sunshine. And that oh so sweet Shelley---

Oh Tina, you are so creative....I love what you did with the basket. Another idea I will be borrowing. :) I am still looking for a vintage metal tissue holder so I can hang one in my guest bath like you did. Loved that idea! Can't wait until you start selling your goodies!

Shelley how kind and thoughtful of you to send such wonderful and perfect gifts to Tina.
Tina, I love the black ticking with the red checked pillows. It's so nice to see white with colors besides pink and blue.

If I didn't have a silly ol' cat that like to eat fabric (the vet calls it "wool sucking") then I, too, would have something so pretty on the back of my sofa. Sigh. How old can cats live to ? ? ? ;)

I loved the idea of using the crochet potholders for coasters; I have several from my grandmother's estate & didn't know what to do with them :)
The runner does look sweet on the wicker sofa- btw, how comfortable is that? I've been wanting to get away from upholstry in my living room (3 clawing fur-kids *sigh*)& just adore the look of wicker.

As a dear friend of Shelley I would like to write on her behalf:
Tina, Thank you for the bright spot that your blog brings to me everyday. Thank you for allowing us to see YOU and YOUR home. Thank you for sharing with me your creative style. I am happy you liked the small offerings I sent to you, they came with my friendshîp and to say thank you for what you have so generously given me each day!
(If Shelley could write I know this is what she would say. Lovingly I write this for her.)
Ps
Thank you Tina for your generous heart.
