What a neat idea that is! Waste not want not. I just love your canning jars in the water bath basket, I have one and I don't use it when I do canning...I think I may borrow this lovely idea :)
Tina, you just keep coming up with the best ideas for Cherry Hill Cottage. Love the old chair on the table. Hmmm I need to make a trip up to the attic and see what I could recycle and use. I wish you were my neighbor... maybe you could teach me a thing or two, lol.
Always something fun to look at on your blog you creative girl ! What a cute idea! That legless chair would also make an interesting Lazy Susan! See what you've started now! Have a great weekend! Beth
Love THAT!! Creative and recyling...all in one! I saw a chair similar to this once...it had a lower back...but no legs...so the woman made a cute, cute very plump ruffled cushion to go in it...and she used it beside her bed as a dog bed...that dog had it made...Precious ideas!! Now I just need some cooler air around here...then maybe I'll have some energy to do so many of the things I have seen on your site and others...
*smacks my head* I have not thought about the chair with legless! Oh well, I do not have a dining table but I'll figure that out if I have a chair w/ no legs. :)
Where did you find the mason's holder? I have a couple of blue jar masons.
Please do not say that too loud - I don't want my son to hear. I just posted today about him (5 years old) saving everything: acorns, wrappers, paper scraps... I really have to be careful - he can read anything these days and if he got justification for his saving habit I would be in trouble. Yours is, of course, charming, I think I just found my "out". Love the centerpiece.

Oh that's cute! Good example of re-use instead of trashing it. You're so creative!

Too cute!! But with my luck some kid would come over and plop themselves up on my table/chair arrangement when told to "have a seat!"
