Mrs G

I love that Squash Blossom colour...not too yellow-y but not too brown...I used it on an old primitive hutch (since painted over...) & in my pantry at our last house :)

and love tole ware trays...I only have 1 (a huge red one that I won at auction years ago) because they've gotten so pricey...but all of your black ones are just beautiful all grouped together...

Betty @ She's Sew Pretty

Oh, you reminded me, I bought a tray this weekend and it is still in the back of my car. It's really dirty. Maybe I left it back there because I don't want to clean it?
Your trays are so pretty against that squash blossom color.

I love your tole trays too!!! heck, I love your whole house!! lol! I want to get some of the black trays for one of my walls in the dining room. I have been looking on ebay too. Hopefully one day I will be able to fined a few that are now too expensive.

I love it all, too, just wondering how you got the lace to stick on your shelf.

Cherry Hill Cottage

Christina~ the lace in my old hoosier is one piece that is laying on the shelf and drapes down over the shelf edge. I buy it at Wal-Mart~ Sold by the yard. It is a plastic type material~ I cut it to fit. I have it in almost every glass front cabinet in my cottage...It's a pretty shelf trim and it provides a pretty shelf paper...

I absolutely ADORE that cherry painting on the wall!

The Feathered Nest

Love that yellow - it's such a warm shade and black looks so fantastic against it. You have a wonderful collection of tole trays. It's nice to hear that you got them all from eBay. I buy alot of my plates from eBay and I always feel a bit guilty. I feel I should be scrumaging around old thrift stores and such in search of collectibles instead of sitting at my computer LOL!

I just love your tole trays! I have several too and could totally kick myself for not buying 2 at a flea mkt. last week...one was red....he only wanted 6$.

You have a lovely blog, so glad I found it.

Southern Heart

That paint color and your trays are a perfect match!

I just found your blog and had to comment on your tole trays. I also collect these trays off Ebay. I use them in our bedroom on a moss green wall. :) Your post made me smile as I wondered if we had ever bid each other up competing on the same tray. :)

Yes, me again. I am trying to catch up with all the wonderful things you have posted.
I love your kitchen! The anaglypta paper looks great. I love using Martha's paints because I'm always happy with her shades.

Thanks, I'm going to have nightmares tonight.
