Goodwill Darlings...

Tinaspics_309_1 Goodwill Darlings! I Was digging through random this-and-that pictures of what I would call "crap" stuff that was broken and filthy. Filth doesn't bother me. Not at all...I've found my best stuff under layers of dust and dirt. I don't like broken cheap crap that should have been thrown away! I don't think any one should have to bother with that. OK, back to my cute little darlings...I'm thinking~ they have to be from an estate~ someones home that was sold and broken up. They "look" old~ "vintage". They also "look" as if they came to Goodwill together~ they have that little "animal theme"...I just can't believe these little darlings were given up! Total cost. $8. Shabby Feather Wreath~

Tinaspics_287_1 Tinaspics_292 Tinaspics_290_1 I want to share my fun little White Shabby Feather Wreath with everyone~ The first time I saw a feather wreath was at my friends home~ Sandy Inscore. She had her little feather wreath hanging on the bed post~ it was so darling!  The bedding in  that bedroom was to die for...everything was perfect~ The feather wreath was so cute and soft~ you just wanted to cuddle with it. Sandy was so sweet and showed me how to make my own little shabby feather wreath...

GOOD MORNING...

Tinaspics_284_3 I'm getting a late start this morning~ wanted to post the mate to my GOOD NIGHT pillow. I bought these cute pillows on Ebay~ I've always wanted the big vintage pillows with the redwork GOOD MORNING/GOOD NIGHT stitched in red . But was never lucky enough to win them on Ebay. Let me say~ I could never afford them! So, I'm happy for now with my little pillows.

GOOD NIGHT...

Tinaspics_283_1 We had a wonderful weekend~ my sister Kathy and her handsome grandson Kyler came home. They are from Houston, Texas. We shopped till our Mother dropped!  We went antique shopping in Gladewater, Texas~ a great place for hunting for those little treasures we can't live without~ I found several wonderful things I'll be posting on my blog this coming week. I also found some great treasures at Goodwill that I want to share.

Just wanted to end this day with a note to all the sweet sweet ladies that are stopping by my blog and posting comments to me~ I'm in awe! I appreciate every kind word~ you'll never know how much! Thank you!

Well, its time to turn in~ GOOD NIGHT...

White Is Right~

Tinaspics_276 Tinaspics_272 Tinaspics_271 When I *see* something old that is white I buy it~ I'm trying to group my white collections together~ So...its over here on this wall~ pottery, white frames, ironstone, an old tin ceiling shelf, and a canvas painting of pansies. If its not white when I buy it~ it gets a wash of my linen white paint and we're happy as a pig in mud! Tinaspics_273

Hey Little Red Riding Hood~ You Sure Are Lookin' Good...

Tinaspics_235_2 I bought this picture at a garage sale last weekend for $14.00~ Its by Rafaello Busoni...I guess you know what caught my eye? Yes, its her red cape. Then my knees got weak when I looked up at those cute little blue birds sitting in all in a row! I also thought of Kim at Daisy Cottage when I saw her bouquet of daisies...I had the former owner who told me~ this was his late Mother's picture to sign her name on the back of it...he shared with me as long as he can remember this picture hung in his Mother's home. Her name was Ruth Dowden from Hornbeck, La. Tinaspics_231_1 Tinaspics_234

FRESH CHERRIES/flower pot...

Tinaspics_219_3 I snapped these photos late today of another "cherry" picture I fell in love with! I guess its a picture~ Its painted on an old cabinet door~ how cool is that! I bought it at the World Famous Canton Trades Day in Canton, Texas. I like it cause its simple~ not to *cute*...FRESH CHERRIES. See this little flower pot? I love it! You know where I got it? Wal-mart. Just last week~OMGOSH I had to have it!   Its chunky and white and has that great black lettering~ "flower pot" ~ I'm a sucker for anything graphic. Tinaspics_227 Tinaspics_223_3

One Day Soon~

Tinaspics_205_1 Our deck~This morning the temp. was in the low 20s...damn its cold! This is the best I can do for a winter deck area that we never use cause its to cold...I have pansies in an old vintage enamel roaster. I bought that roaster at an estate sale for $2.00. I've had more fun planting cottage flowers in it. I got my red and white check tablecloth at Goodwill for $1.00~I want to say its oilcloth/it is waterproof...My sweet husband painted the red stripes this past summer...damn it was hot! We wanted to create a rug of some sort~its OK...but I'm going to add something else to it, like...I don't know yet...any suggestion?

One day soon I'll be out there drinking my morning coffee!
