I won't be able to do another post until I share with everyone that our Tulley died December 3rd.

Tulley was 15~ she lived a long happy full life.

We miss her will all our hearts.

For those who commented on where I bought my "PURE BUTTER" platter~ I bought it several years ago at The Beautiful Life. The last time I checked they could no longer get them. Here is a site where you can purchase a "CHEESE" platter. Emma Bridgewater Pottery. My sister Kathy bought it. It looks just like my PURE BUTTER platter. Kathy put a large cloche/dome on it.

My HUGE thanks to Cathy of Cobblestone Farms and her Mother, Brenda for sending me the most precious gifts ever!

This lil' bowl of cherries was from Brenda's collection. Cathy wrote in the note that her Mother suffers from diabetes and she has nearly lost all her vision. Cathy wrote that she shares in detail pictures of my Cherry Hill Cottage. She also wrote they decided together that I should have this lil' bowl of cherries, that they thought I would enjoy it mingled in with all the things I treasure. She said, I hope it makes you smile the way you have helped make my mom smile....

To let you know Cathy and Brenda, it's one of my most "favorite things" I have it on my kitchen island, that is where it will stay. And... it makes me ((smile)) every time I look at it!!

Cathy also sent me this adorable ornament. She handpainted the Cherry Hill Cottage

and the cherries on it.

LOVE IT!

I have it hanging in my kitchen, off my pot rack, so I can enjoy it!

Cathy wrote that it's for my red and white Christmas tree. It will go front and center. After Christmas, back to the kitchen!

This lil' cute ornament is from my sweetsweetsweet friend Elsie.

I LOVE ELSIE!!!!!

Elsie and her two daughters came to Canton First Monday last month. Elsie brought me all kinds of gifts!! And Monica too!!

Each part of the chair, back, buttons, sit, wings, skirt are made of 4 different vintage chenille bedspreads. Even the skirt edging is the fringe from the chenille bedspreads.

Love the back~ both chair-backs match. This was 2 twin vintage bedspreads I found on Ebay. I also found a great vintage spread at an estate sale.

The best thing about my slipcovers~

I can take them off, wash and dry them, and put them right back on. All 4 vintage bedspreads have been washed many, many times through the years...

Marilyn Bowens of Henderson, Texas made my slipcovers. If you are in the Henderson area you will love Marilyn's work, she is so sweet!!

LaurieAnna's Vintage Home is excited to be traveling back to Houston, Texas to the 29th annual Nutcracker Market. Hosted by, The Houston Ballet. The Nutcracker Market will usher in the holidays November 12-15 at Reliant Park. The market will be open from 10 a.m - 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
